Tournament Rules

1. Have fun!!!

2. Entry Fee is $200.00 per boat (4 anglers max per boat). $25.00 optional Mystery Fish category.

3. At least 1 member from each team must be present at the Captain’s Meeting.

4. All fish caught must be legal under FWC Saltwater Fishing Regulations.

5. No fishing with 500 ft. of Bert’s Bar and Grill or within 100 yards of other anglers.

6. Wade fishing is ALLOWED - anglers in the water must stay within 100 yards of their boat. No dropping off anglers at spots and coming back later to pick them up. No exchanging bait/fish between boats.

7. Honor Start from any launch. No Lines in the water prior to 7am.

8. Combined weight of two legal redfish determines winner.ONLY LEGAL SIZED REDFISH (18” – 27”) WILL BE WEIGHED. Length is determined by Weigh Masters measuring board.

9. Weigh in starts at 11 am – All boats must be within sight of the dock at Bert’s Bar and Grill by 3:30pm for final weigh in… NO EXCEPTIONS. Teams assisting disabled boats must contact a tournament official prior to 3:30 via phone 239-349-1129. Live release is strongly encouraged but not required. No bonus for live release and no penalty for dead fish.

10. Tie breaker will be determined by time of weigh in – First team to weigh in wins the tie.

11. The weigh master has the final decision in all disputes.

12. Tournament Officials reserve the right to inspect fish for any reason at any time.
